One of the Best

I can't say that this rifle was never fired, but I can say that I am a graduate of Colorado School of Trades with a degree in gunsmthing, I specialize in military small arms, I've been working on AKs for thirteen years, and I have never seen a parts kit in this immaculate of condition before. The kit I got is completely matching down to the rear sight leaf and the typical witness marks that are associated with wear on Kalashnikov pattern rifles is not present on the kit that I got. The journals on the front sight block, gas block, and rear sight block all came in at nominal size (class 2 measurements from Izhevsk blueprints). I would rate the original bluing at +98% with very minor splotches and a couple scratches from the demil process. It looks like they took a brand new rifle out of an arsenal and shipped it over. The furniture is a bit of a mismatch and a mix of laminated and hardwood, but that is easy enough to deal with. These are surplus kits, so they won't all be this good, but this is an example of the top end of the quality spectrum. Arms of America staff was also very helpful and willing to go the extra mile to help me out when I called them. I've bought from them before, and I will buy from them again. Keep up the good work!

Polish Milled KbK kit

Was excited to see the kit when it arrived, it perfumed the air with the strong smells of old wood and Cosmo. I gave everything a good look and all the parts that have numbers match, I wouldn't be surprised if the whole thing was original. Bluing is very good, some minor wear but nothing dire. Rust is almost a non problem, mostly surface stuff and I cant see any pitting anywhere. I feel this is going to make a wonderful rifle once built that will outlast me:)

AoA does it again.

I'm a bit of a Polish collector with my wife being from Poland so when I saw these kits I had to have one. I never owned a milled AK before but it's always been a dream and wow... Polish quality is always tip top. I left a customer note to send me a nice blued kit and they sent an all matching all blued kit with hardwood furniture. Looks like this rifle saw very little to no service. The kit came with a wood grip like in the photo and a packing slip in Polish from when they demilled the kit that my wife translated for me. They do it right and I see no demilling marks at all. Only thing I wish was they included a torch cut receiver but I'm sure the factory that does it recycles the material. What an awesome group AoA is. They do it right and I sure hope the quality of customer service continues. It keeps me coming back!

I was very particular about what kind of kit I was wanting and AoA got me exactly what I asked for. Bolt assemblies are practically new. Andrew was a great help as always. Will be back for more!

Stunning kit!

They really don't get much better than the kit I received. AOA hand selected a all hardwood stock set that was in great condition. The parts kit was all matching in like unissued condition. On email request they let me know this was a 1958 kit with it's assigned prefix letters so I can detail my receiver. Not the first kit I have bought from AOA and it probably won't be the last. lol
